In Matthew 6:6, Jesus teaches us to go into our prayer closet, shut the door, and pray to our Father in secret. Prayer is not simply something we turn to when we have run out of options. It is our direct communication and fellowship with God, and an essential part of our walk with Him.
In this week’s Kickstart, I share why prayer should be a daily priority in the life of every believer. We do not need fancy words or a special vocabulary to approach God. We can come to Him honestly, bring our burdens, ask for guidance, give thanks, and trust that He hears us. Even when the answer seems delayed, we can continue to pray, knowing that God is at work.
I encourage you to make time for God in prayer, seek His face, and take everything to Him. As we draw closer to Him, we find strength, peace, and the grace to keep going.
