When we say “Jesus is Lord of my life,” we are not just using familiar words. We are acknowledging His authority, surrendering our will and choosing His leadership above our own. It means trusting His wisdom, obeying His word and placing every part of our lives, our decisions, fears, desires and future, fully in His hands.
